I absolutely love the Tantus Tsunami, but it takes some warm-up for me to use it. I wanted to try another textured Tantus toy, but with less of a curve. The Tantus Goddess looked similar, down to the purple haze color, so I decided to try it. It also has less girth and less length, so this made it seem like an easier toy to use.
Design and Material
The Tantus Goddess is packaged in standard Tantus packaging – a clear plastic container surrounds the Goddess inside of a cardboard box. I ordered the Goddess from Tantus, and the external packaging was discreet, as always.
The Tantus Goddess is 6.25” long with 4.9” of insertable length. The diameter is 1.55”, and it has a girth of 4.25”. It is slightly curved, but not dramatically so. There is texture running along the length of the shaft of the Goddess. In addition to the texture, there are ridges for G-spot stimulation. The material is glossy and a standard slightly firm Tantus silicone – what Tantus calls “flexible” – it is slightly flexible and can be bent, but it firmer than many other brands.
There is a bullet cavity at the base of the Goddess for use with the included bullet vibrator (or another bullet or small vibrator). The Tantus Goddess is suction compatible, harness-compatible, and anal-safe.
Ease of Use
The length and girth are both on the lower end of average, which allows it to be inserted easily.
Unfortunately for me, the texture or the ridges seem to result in an uncomfortable dragging sensation. Even after trying multiple lubes, the dragging sensation persisted – the texture would painfully catch onto my skin. It might just be incompatible with my anatomy, as others have reviewed it and found it to be suitable. I would chalk it up as a weird personal quirk, but I had noticed a review noting a similar issue on the Tantus website.
I really wanted to like the Goddess, as it seemed like it could be a less-intense companion to the Tsunami. I highly recommend the Tsunami if you want G-spot stimulation, but I am unsure why the Goddess seems to drag so much for me.
Despite my issues with using the Goddess, it is easy to clean.
Does It Do What It Claims To?
“Beautiful subtle curves, soft sleek silicone, and a removable bullet vibrator makes the Tantus Goddess a perfect toy for solo use or couples play.”
I agree with Tantus about the subtle curvature. The silicone is sleek, but like most Tantus products, I wouldn’t call it “soft.”
Should you buy this?
I would recommend this if you want a slightly below average length and girth dildo, particularly if you like texture – I just hope that you do not experience the same issues with the texture.
